| Welcome to the web site to support the Friends of Bee Cave
Public Library. This site will be used to post minutes, agendas, and other
working documents to help us build our organization.
It is a 100% volunteer effort, so if you don't see
something you need, let us know so that it can be updated.
Coming up...keep checking the web site for news and
events. We are taking the summer off but will get back to our meetings in
the Fall.

Lake Travis Reads
The Friends of the Bee Cave Public Library organized "Lake Travis Reads"
a one book, one community program in conjunction with the Friends of the
Lake Travis Community Library, the Friends of the Spicewood Community
Library with help from numerous other community groups. The book selected
was "This Voice in My Heart," by local runner Gilbert Tuhabonye.
Earth Day Celebration a Success!
Thank you so much to Laurie for heading up our Earth
Day Recycled Craft Celebration at the library on Saturday. With help from
our own Office Max and Lowes Garden Center and a lot of community
volunteers, we made origami alligators, bats and trees. We also planted
pumpkin seeds which could reach 300lbs by next Thanksgiving.
