We had a good turnout for our genealogy workshop. A big thanks to Sandra Johnson for coordinating this event and to our wonderful members for pulling together the food and set up. We had great speakers and I think everyone left wishing we'd had more time.

Book Sale

Our book sale last August was a big success. We are eternally thankful for Barbara and her staff at the library. In addition, the folks at Lincoln Properties and the Shops at the Galleria were amazing...from the signage to the iPhone prize, they were great supporters.

Dyan Emerson did a fantastic job in setting everything up and pulling in the local girl scouts and LTHS football team to help out. In addition, Laura Mitchell at the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce brought in Chamber members to help us sort books the week before the sale.

There are many more to thank, because this was such a big community effort. See photos below.

As part of Friends of Libaries USA (FOLUSA), the friends group supports and helps build resources for the library.  Unless otherwise noted, the Friends group meets on the third Thursday of each month from 1:30-2:30 in the library.
